Rossouw began his professional journey by completing a BCom in Financial Accounting at Stellenbosch University, followed by an Honours degree in Accounting Science (CTA) at the University of South Africa in 2019. He successfully passed both of SAICA's board exams on his first attempt.
Rossouw started his career in 2018 at Integrum Audit Inc, where he completed his first and second years of SAICA articles. He then moved to Pyper Turner Inc, where he completed his third year of articles and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) in 2022. In 2023, he joined Baker Tilly Cayman.
With over five years of experience in providing assurance services, Rossouw specializes in hedge funds and private equity funds. He has an in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
In addition to his audit expertise, Rossouw is a Certified DeFi Expert and Certified Blockchain Expert. He is part of Baker Tilly Cayman's digital assets audit team and has experience auditing various digital asset-focused mutual and private funds.
